Why are we playing an assassins creed game where we aren't a Ninja? Because Ass Creed has become a generic rpg with barely any focus on assassination or stealth.

In the end these companies are all in denial. 1. They openly push an agenda 2. They do not care about their mainstream audience 3. Their “new” target audience does not replace their lost mainstream audience 4. They don’t realize that it isn’t only about their eagerness to push an agenda they fail to produce good stories, good characters and good games. It is one thing to publish creative games for niche audiences, it is something else to publish bland painting by the number games with agendas. Consumers have the final say. Even if you ban people on social media, you will not entice the mainstream to buy your stale agenda driven games. The customer is always right, in the end they vote with their wallet regardless of the marketing, once the public has enough they will spend their money elsewhere. In short these companies are in denial and have lost their priorities. Don’t expect mainstream hits with products that target a niche audience. It is simple 1+1=2 (actually it is more like 100-98=2 😂)

What is the issue if he is black? Yasuke was an actual samurai. They're probably using that to distract from the price of the game or the lack of substance in it. I played valhalla and got about halfway through before getting frustrated with it. Their best title in more recent times in my opinion is avatar frontiers of Pandora, loved that game, even though it's ruined that the content in the store items could have been implemented in the game as things to find. I think the folks at the avatar studio (lightstorm I think it's called) had a hand in making sure the game did well and mitigated any bad decisions ubisoft might have made. Top games of mine from this studio go as follows: Black flag Avatar Far Cry Primal

Well, considering the amount of replies on some of my criticisms on other videos saying “you’re gonna wish you were having as much fun as we are with these games” (I’ll simply reply ‘don’t ever assume my preference in regards to entertainment’ etc) I have a feeling these games might do decent enough. Ubisoft isn’t going anywhere unfortunately, look at their recent shenanigans the past few months let alone the “downgrade” meme they’ve established for over a decade since I believe the first Watch dogs. It would take back-to-back-to-back-to-back complete and utter failures for them to even acknowledge their lack of integrity and loyalty to their “fan base” let alone make any considerable change. Evident by their lack of accountable distrust People are going to buy, which is weird bc Ubi is just shy of putting a bullet in Ezio’s or Edward Kenway’s face to pull off a “Kill the Justice League” level of disrespect. Granted aside from Basim and the odyssey character, every main protagonist is already dead and the ones alive don’t really matter that much lol (I know we see Ezio’s death in that animation but I’m making a comparison)

Start talking about the real issue here - game publishers (and movie, and books, and scientific literature etc. etc.) receive funding ONLY if they toe the woke line. We live in a world conquered and devoured wholesale by investment capital, and some of the people in control of said capital have huffed enough of their own farts to think they will now lead humanity into a new dawn. In many ways games are no longer made for gamers, they are made for those broken, soulless weirdoes who control the money. They call the shots on most aspects of the products. Retail customer is a thing of the past - nobody needs them anymore.

Making a Historical Fiction game is cool and interesting. Assassins Creed needed to die. It went too far. There are other ways to tell a historical fiction story. Assassins Creed went from a story about Templars and Assassins during the crusades to all over the world, and various times in history. Where it was interesting to explore the game world, the Templar/Assassin story line became my least favorite part.

Used to be excited about new AC games in the past. That's long gone tho. Now I'm excited for these companies to fail miserably because actual gamers don't buy/want their bullshit.

Yeah, im done with the dei woke crap in every game nowadays and will not pay for or play any game that has it in it or is involved with it. No more pre-ordering, either. And its no a mistake, they know exactly what they are doing and until game studio's weed out and find and fire these activists, modern gaming, in the west, at least is going to stagnate. funny thing is, with all this being said, people will still buy the thing. Some will even buy the ridiculous ultimate edition. Just like what happened to valhalla and valhalla wasn't even recieved well but it still made money. Community is just funny lol it's an entertainment for me now.
